Just Eat Takeaway.com selects EssenceMediacom as Global Media Partner

Just Eat Takeaway.com (JET) today announced the appointment of WPP Media’s EssenceMediacom team as its media agency partner of record, following a competitive pitch.  

As a result of the decision, a dedicated EssenceMediacom team will support JET with media strategy, planning, and activation across global markets including Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Germany, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Slovakia, Spain, Switzerland, and the UK. A dedicated Mindshare team will also service JET’s media business in Canada.  

The appointment supports JET’s ongoing marketing evolution with an operating model that connects central strategic leadership with local market expertise, enabling a globally consistent approach to driving growth and delivering connected media experiences across the consumer journey.  

The JET team will leverage WPP’s agentic marketing platform WPP Open and Open Intelligence to deliver on the company’s aggressive growth targets through deep consumer understanding, identifying new growth audiences and opportunities, and more effective use of data and measurement.
