Latest Billings Report from COMvergence Reinforces WPP Media’s Unique Global Scale and Intelligence Advantage for Clients

WPP Media’s position as the world’s leading media investment group has been reaffirmed in COMvergence’s newly released 2024 Global & Regional Billings Rankings report. The report, which measures media billings across 48 international markets, ranks us first globally with $64.6 billion in billings - up 3.6% year-over-year and 18.2% ahead of the next-largest group. 

Regionally, the report ranks WPP Media #1 in both APAC ($20.6B) and EMEA ($25.4B), which together account for nearly 60% of measured global billings. Of crucial importance to global marketers that need to activate everywhere, WPP Media is the most consistently scaled group across geographies, leading the industry in more markets than any other company. We are ranked first in 50% of the top ten markets measured by COMvergence - including the United Kingdom, China, India, Germany, and Italy - and first in nearly half of all 48 measured markets.

Collectively, WPP Media’s agency brands - EssenceMediacom (#2), Mindshare (#3), and Wavemaker (#5) - occupy three of the top five agency networks ranked in the report. Mindshare consistently leads across Asia Pacific markets, including China, India, and Vietnam, while EssenceMediacom ranked #1 across major EMEA markets including Germany, Poland, and the UK. Wavemaker also achieved top rankings in Italy, the Netherlands, and Hungary.
