WPP Media Korea Named Official Certified Advertising Partner of Coupang Ads

Seoul, October 2025 — Global media agency WPP Media Korea has been named an official certified advertising partner of Coupang Ads.

Coupang Ads’ Certified Partner program recognizes agencies with a deep understanding of strategy and execution across Coupang’s full-funnel advertising solutions and performance operations. 

This partnership is grounded in close collaboration between the two companies, aiming to deliver advertisers more systematic, data-driven, and verified campaign management benefits amid the rapid growth of Korea’s retail media market. 

WPP Media Korea is the only media agency in Korea that has operated a dedicated commerce team for over a decade, specializing in retail media planning and optimization. Unlike performance-focused agencies, WPP Media has built a unique capability spanning the entire marketing funnel—from branding media for global leading brands to retail performance campaigns—which became a key factor in establishing this partnership. 

Since July 2025, WPP Media has participated in CouCAB2025, Coupang Ads’ advisory council, providing insights to enhance Coupang’s advertising solutions. Through this initiative, WPP Media has supported Coupang’s brand advertising pilot program and contributed to the development of diverse models within Korea’s retail media ecosystem. The collaboration marked the first step toward a mutually beneficial data and insight exchange structure between the two companies. 

Building on its designation as Coupang Ads’ certified partner in October 2025, WPP Media Korea plans to further strengthen the partnership by offering advertisers optimized services, campaign insights, and educational programs that deliver differentiated value.
