Pajor Attila Elected President by the Membership of IAB Hungary
IAB Hungary held an extraordinary renewal general meeting, where a new professional was elected to lead the digital industry organization for the board term running until the end of January 2028.
Lunczner Ádám, Managing Director of Mediator, left the agency at the end of April, a change that also affected his role as President of IAB Hungary, which he had held since January 2025. Under the statutes of the professional organization, which currently has one hundred member companies, the presidential position may only be held by someone who represents a company that is a member of both IAB and MRSZ. As this condition was no longer met in Lunczner Ádám’s case, a new leader had to be elected to head the board.
During the presidential election period launched in mid-May, three of the professionals nominated for the presidency by representatives of IAB member companies accepted the nomination. After learning about the candidates’ presidential programmes and plans, the membership elected Pajor Attila, Managing Director of WPP Media Hungary, as President of IAB Hungary through an online vote. He will also take over the representation of the professional organization in the leadership of Hungarian Advertising Association (MRSZ). The result was announced on the afternoon of 9 June 2026, at the organization’s online renewal general meeting, held together with the financial and activity report for 2025.
Pajor Attila, the new President of IAB Hungary, said the following about his election: “It is an honour that the membership has elected me President of the organization; thank you for your trust. My personal motivation is to make IAB Hungary the driving force behind local digital market collaboration. I would like to be an IAB president who, working closely with industry players, can take decisive steps towards a liveable and future-ready digital ecosystem. There are many major changes taking place in our market, and we can only tackle them — and benefit from them in the right way — through collaboration.”
