Celebrating our eighth consecutive IAB UK Gold accreditation
We're proud to have been awarded Gold Standard Certification from the Internet Advertising Bureau in the UK for the eighth consecutive year.
We have been an early and active participant since the certification’s launch in 2018, demonstrating our ongoing commitment to responsible and effective digital advertising.
The IAB UK’s Gold Standard brings together several key industry initiatives designed to create a safer, more transparent, and user-friendly digital advertising ecosystem. The Gold Standard focuses on tackling ad fraud, enhancing brand safety, improving user experience, supporting compliance with GDPR and e-privacy regulations, and strengthening supply chain transparency.
The most recent version of this accreditation includes additional criteria to provide standardised metrics, deliver improved consumer experiences, and further increase transparency across the industry. We have consistently demonstrated support for a range of IAB Tech Lab standards, including video signals, the Ad Creative ID Framework (ACIF) 1.0, the VAST CTV Addendum, Podcast Measurement Guidelines, and RefSettings.
WPP Media (formerly GroupM) was among the first major media holding groups to achieve the 1.0 and 2.0 Gold Standard Certifications, as well as the 2.1 Gold Standard Certification in November 2022. This latest accreditation reflects the dedication and expertise of our entire network, including WPP Media, EssenceMediacom, Mindshare, Wavemaker, and T&Pm.
