WPP Media Launches YouTube 5K to Accelerate YouTube Planning and Creative Versioning with AI
Today we’re sharing the launch of YouTube 5K (YT5K), an AI‑assisted solution we have co-developed with Google that accelerates two of the most time‑consuming parts of YouTube activation: channel curation and creative versioning. Available exclusively to clients of WPP Media through our Media Solutions team, YT5K uses proprietary technology to deliver faster activation and stronger campaign performance across premium YouTube environments.
Grounded in WPP Media’s YouTube planning and activation expertise and enabled by our Google Marketing Platform and Google Cloud partnerships, YT5K simplifies historically complex YouTube workflows. This first-to-market solution delivers value through two core capabilities:
Automated Content Analysis & Strategic Channel Curation to Secure High-Performing Inventory: Through sophisticated AI-driven analysis, YT5K generates robust reports with clear risk categorization and scores around YouTube channels' content integrity and brand alignment. This robust analysis results in a regularly updated premium inventory of over 5,000 top-tier YouTube channels. The result is faster channel curation, greater confidence in inventory quality, and stronger upper-funnel campaign performance.
For our Media Solutions clients, this means securing the strongest performing YouTube inventory and driving incremental reach in AV plans.
Expedited Creative Versioning for Maximum Performance: YT5K intelligently and rapidly shortens brands’ original ad creatives into high-quality, tailored 10-second, 15-second, and 20-second cutdowns optimized for diverse YouTube ad lengths. Cutdowns are automatically scored against YouTube’s ABCD (Attention, Branding, Connection, and Direction) best practices to maximize creative performance from the onset.
Until now, the manual effort required to produce and adapt creative has made it difficult for brands to realize such gains at scale. YT5K removes that barrier, enabling faster, more consistent ABCD‑aligned creative across campaigns.
