Announcing ecommerce store management and fulfillment services in partnership with Synagie
Today, we're unveiling a commercial partnership with Synagie Corporation to significantly increase our capabilities in delivering end-to-end ecommerce services.
WPP Media (formerly GroupM) can now offer ecommerce platform store management and fulfillment services (warehousing and logistics) to its large client base across the APAC region. This will simplify the process of establishing on online presence, enabling brands to sell across multiple online platforms across Southeast Asia.
Synagie was established in 2014 and has a strong track record of helping multinational brands navigate the e-Commerce landscape in the region. Powered by technology such as real-time big data analytics and artificial intelligence, Synagie’s cloud platform acts as an integrated “back office” for clients to manage or automate their commerce process. This is done by handling the entire value chain from multi-channel content, order and inventory management to warehousing and last mile delivery.
The Synagie partnership will be managed by WPP Media's dedicated commerce team that consolidates the ecommerce expertise across the group.
Jon Thurlow, Asia Pacific COO, said, “Partnering with Synagie creates greater integration for clients where we can look holistically from omni-channel planning, through campaign execution and consumer experience to delivery, ensuring value is being built at each stage.”
Ms. Olive Tai, Synagie’s Executive Director, said, “There has been an acceleration in e-Commerce adoption around the world, driven by more consumers opting to do their shopping online. Southeast Asia will see a substantial increase in the size of its internet economy as more people connect digitally. Brands can no longer ignore the importance of online commerce. We are thrilled to work with [WPP Media] in helping their clients capture a piece of this lucrative e-Commerce pie.”
