WPP Media leads the WARC Media 100 List for Sixth Year Running
WARC (World Advertising Research Center) has ranked WPP Media as the number one company in its Media 100 List 2023 for the sixth year in a row.
EssenceMediacom, which launched in January 2023 following the merger of Essence and MediaCom, topped this year’s network ranking. Collectively, WPP Media brands dominated the top 10 agencies category, with EssenceMediacom New York, Wavemaker Mumbai, EssenceMediacom Singapore, EssenceMediacom Sydney, EssenceMediacom London, Mindshare Mumbai, Mindshare Shanghai and Mindshare Stockholm all ranking.
WPP Media clients were also responsible six of the campaigns featured in WARC’s top 10 list. EssenceMediacom Singapore, in partnership with Grey Tokyo, came in third place overall for Versus, a series of ground-breaking films for P&G’s SK-II to mark the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. The animated series celebrates the resilience of female athletes including Simone Biles, Mahina Maeda and Kasumi Ishikawa in the face of societal pressures and the challenges of social media for women.
