WPP Media clients dominate 2025 World Media Awards, winning Grand Prix and two additional categories

WPP Media clients won three major prizes at this year’s World Media Awards (WMA), including the coveted Grand Prix, as well as attaining three additional shortlist mentions.

What the judges said 

On the  Grand Prix and winner of the Luxury & Lifestyle category, "Linked by Love", created by EssenceMediacom in partnership with Richemont brand Cartier, the judges commented: 

"This campaign resonated deeply with judges on an emotional level through its beautiful execution built on strong consumer insights. The full-funnel approach enhanced by machine learning algorithms impressed judges, alongside the remarkable effort of sourcing 100 unique love stories. The judges particularly commended the native branded distribution and the strategic partnership between Cartier and The New York Times." 

For "The Exponential Era," the winner of the Technology & Telecoms category and developed by Wavemaker alongside Nokia, the judges noted: 

"The judges praised this truly integrated campaign that delivered strong business results across multiple platforms, demonstrating seamless coordination and strategic execution throughout all touchpoints." 

The WMA, judged by a panel of senior international marketers, are the only global awards celebrating the creativity and effectiveness of cross-platform, content-driven advertising. The Grand Prix is the ceremony's top honor, awarded to the overall best campaign from all category winners.
