WPP Media: The Most Awarded Network at Cannes Lions 2025

Media company wins 77 Lions, including 9 Grand Prix and Titanium trophies

WPP Media delivered an extraordinary performance at Cannes Lions 2025, concluding as the most awarded media company of the festival. With a total 77 Lions — including 9 Grand Prix and Titanium trophies — we outpaced all other media competitors and reinforced the critical role of media in shaping the world’s most celebrated creative work.

These wins are a reflection of the deep partnerships we’ve built with clients, the creative and strategic integration across our agency brands, and the power of media to lead transformation across industries and cultures.

    Among the highlights:

    • Mindshare made history by winning the Media Lions Grand Prix for Dove Real Beauty Redefined for the AI Era — the first time since 2018 that a media agency has won this award outright.

    • EssenceMediacom, Mindshare, and Wavemaker all made significant contributions to our total tally:

    • EssenceMediacom: 26 Lions

    • Mindshare: 23 Lions

    • Wavemaker: 22 Lions

    Across our work, we earned:

    • 9 Grand Prix and Titanium awards

    • 13 Gold Lions

    • 10 Silver Lions

    • 35 Bronze Lions

    • 1 Young Lion

We’re especially proud of our most awarded client partners: Unilever (18 Lions), AXA (13 Lions), and The Coca-Cola Company (12 Lions) — each of whom entrusted us to help bring bold, innovative ideas to life through the power of media.

This year’s wins at Cannes Lions are a testament to the power of media to lead — not just support — great ideas. These results reflect the strength of WPP Media, the trust of our clients and partners, and our continued focus on delivering outcomes through collaboration, innovation and intelligence”

Brian Lesser, Global CEO of WPP Media.

Thank you to our people, clients, and partners who helped make this an unforgettable year. Here’s to the continued power of media and creativity.
